Proud to not be lazy!!

As you all know from my last post I managed to gain 3.2 lbs I have no idea how or why, I thought maybe I was retaining water or something so I weighed myself yesterday and today and my body didn't fool me it still says 192.4 BLAHHHH!!! So Last night I was so discouraged I did not want to work out. AT ALL!

I'm also starting P90X on April 1 so I kept saying to myself I don't need to work out I am starting P90X in a few days it wont kill me to not work out today. No I don't need to work out. But then I was getting more upset with myself and depressed, and I realized I'm doing the same thing I always do. "Oh I can wait I can wait I'm do it hardcore in a few days" But I realized more and more that I am WASTING time. I only have 109 days till my two vacations and I want to look good for them I really do. So I got up got dressed and worked out to the 30 day shred with Jillian. I burned almost 500 calories in 30 mins yeahhhhh me!!!

I felt so much better about myself and I am not going to let it stop me any more! I start P90X in a few days and I will not fail this time. I tried it once before but I don't think I was organized enough that time. I don't care what anyone says you need to be organized to lose weight or you will easily fall of the horse!!..

My prep for P90X is as follows I am watching all the videos before I start so I can make sure that I know what all the moves are and if I need to modify them I don't have to sit and figure out the best way during the actual work out and waste time I will have an Idea first and also I created a excel workbook to have all the information I need to succeed charts and schedules and goals and all the above also I am writing out all the food and stocking my fridge with only the food from the nutrition plan so I never get lost or confused.

I am really looking forward to seeing what P90X can do for me. I have to take pictures of my body before, there are 6-7 different poses so I will post all those and my results of the fit test the day before I start. I am soooo Excited!!!

    And I' just curious, what device do you use to measure how many calories you burn during your workouts?

  2. I use a New Balance Heart rate monitor that I bought you have to take you heart rate every few mins during the workout and it will tell you how many calories you are burning based on your heart rate. its pretty awesome!!
