It was good, I was really surprised how good the food was!! Every diet or plan I have been on had nasty somewhat ok food, the kind that when you eating it all you can think about is how you rather have this or rather have that, then you are still hungry after your done because it wasn't appetizing and you want some thing good, well this food which in reality is the same as the "diet food" but prepare and combined in the right way is amazing!!!!
For example P90X has a Red Pepper Soup that you can eat certain days and I hate peppers HATE them. There are only a few veggies I don't like and that is one of them any kind of pepper=nasty. But the Red Pepper Soup is roasted red peppers, onion, celery, tomato's and other spices it is amazing, maybe because it is pureed and not a chunky soup where I can see it all or maybe the combo of flavors are just right..idk..but it was great, I think I am going to make it and use it as a pasta sauce for my husband and he wont know what he is eating and he will get more veggies YEAHHH MEE and THANK YOU TONY!! Also I had made the shrimp stir fry it was great I would have never thought of combining the ingredients they way they do the ginger and garlic (I love to cook but Suck and making my own things I don't have the knowledge of how to combine things or what to combine or what things taste like I had never used ginger before this. But I got some ideas now!!)
So I tried to make all my food in advance so I wouldn't get caught in a situation where I wouldn't have time or something to cook, and then end up eating the wrong things. So I made my Chicken Salad, Red Pepper Soup, Vegetable Soup, Homemade Protein bars (courtesy of my Beach body coach Kati) Cooked Chicken for all the different recipes and tomorrow I plan on making my Tuna salad, and miso soup in advance of the end of the week!! SOOO excited to try those!!
As for the workouts...all I have to say is HOLY CRAPOLIE!!! They are crazy!! I started on Sat. with the chest and back which was great I didn't have a chin up bar but I used the bands which still worked( my dad bought me a chin up bar for my birthday which isn't till tomorrow but he gave it to me yesterday so I could use it next time along with 8 and 10lbs weights !! awesome!! So I was sooo hyper after the chest and back workout it was amazing I wasn't sore till the next day but it is a good sore!!
Sunday I had plyometrics which was INTENSE. I did my best and forgot the rest lol but next time I will try to do better!! It was very hard for me so I modified some of the moves they way they showed to modify them and and some points I had to stop a few seconds early not much 2-5 secs at the most. The only one I changed myself was this one where you stand on one leg and hop in a hot cross patter front,back,side, side. I get easily hurt in my shins and I hopped once and had to change it to both feet on the ground because it hurt so bad! BUT it was great!!! I was so beat I had to skip the bonus round but next time I will try it and i will BRING IT!!
Today I woke up early at 6 and did my shoulders and Arms DVD OH BOY it was intense soo glad I got the 8 and 10lb weights yesterday because I used them depending on the exercise I use either a 5lb, 8lb or 10lb. The only exercise I had to change completely was the last one the Side Tri Raises this one you lay on your left side and put you right hand right by your body next to your peck and then you left arm on your shoulder and raise on the planted arms and work the triceps then switch to the other side, I failed at this couldn't do it with out wiggling and wasn't using my triceps soo I did a triceps extension behind the head instead to still workout with them. Here is a pic so the position makes sense.

You can see what I mean to keep your feet from not moving and only isolating the triceps it was hard. I don't have enough strength in my core to stay still.
Finally on Sat and with today's workout I am also supposed to combine AB Ripper X I did on Sat. and it was HARD I couldn't do some of the exercises to the standard 25 reps but I did my best and will try harder today. I didn't have time this morning to fit it in but I will do it tonight When I get off work!!
I feel I have had a great start to the program and cant wait to see some results!!
My Tip of the week Is STAY ORGANIZED it really helps make things easier and prevents failure.
